KENT HORSTMANN JOINS KNOWLEDGE RESERVOIR TO HEAD UP SALES & MARKETING

HOUSTON, April 14, 2005 --- Dr. Ivor Ellul, CEO of Knowledge Reservoir, today announced that Kent Horstmann has joined the Knowledge Reservoir’s Houston office as Vice President, Business Development.

Mr. Horstmann will assume the responsibility for US sales as well as marketing of products and services for the company worldwide. “Kent Horstmann is an outstanding addition to our management team and, given his significant experience and excellent reputation in the E & P industry, will be key in helping compound the current rapid growth of the company”, said Dr.Ellul.

Mr. Horstmann started his career with Exxon as a Development Geologist progressing through Reserves, Planning, Regulatory, and Reservoir Development assignments with the Company. He has subsequently held senior management and executive positions in E & P consulting and software companies in Houston.

Kent holds a B.S. in Geology from Augustana College; Rock Island, Illinois, and a MS in Geology from Duke University; Durham, North Carolina.
