Dr. Mezzatesta joins the company after a 22 year career with Baker Hughes/Baker Atlas where he most recently served as Chief Reservoir Engineer and Research Manager within the Product Development Group, Houston. Prior to joining Baker Hughes, Dr. Mezzatesta was Numerical Reservoir Simulation Group Leader for YPF-Argentina in Buenos Aires, and earlier, a reservoir simulation expert for INLAB also in Buenos Aires and a professor of mathematics and petroleum engineering at several Argentine universities. Alberto received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston and has dedicated much of his time over the years to supporting technical societies including SPE, SPWLA and SEG. He has published a large number of technical articles on topics including formation evaluation, petrophysics and reservoir simulation. “This is a great opportunity for me to apply the knowledge that I have gained over the years in a manner that will immediately benefit our clients.
